From warehouse scraps to new fabric pieces for furniture and fashion brands, the value of waste is being harnessed at SC GRAND's third-generation Sustainability initiative. The

SC GRAND family business has extended its operations by utilising leftover yarn scraps from factory warehouses, blending them with new innovations to create natural-coloured fibres.

These fibres are then used as raw materials for designing fabrics for furniture, creating a new brand complete with sustainability information about the particular item for customers to proudly engage in eco-conscious practices. Customers scanning the QR codes will receive information on how the product aids in water conservation and reduces carbon dioxide emissions in the environment.

Experience this innovative fabric creation by SC GRAND at STYLE Bangkok 2024, organised by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce,

in collaboration with the Board of Trade of Thailand, under the theme ‘ChicNature.’

Showcasing the full potential of Thai cultural power and highlighting SMEs’ sustainability efforts, the event brings together a comprehensive array of lifestyle, fashion, and crafted design products. Serving as a platform for Thai manufacturers, exporters, and designers to negotiate trades and establish partnerships with global businesses, the event runs from

20 to 24 March 2024 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
